No, u ass-hole, the lag is where one player grabs the cue-ball, and the other grabs the 1-ball and runs them acroos the table.

Also you should’ve add if your ball hits the side rail, gets pocketed, or goes on the floor, you lose the lag, and if both the cue ball, and the 1 ball hits each other player must re-lag.

Yuor lucky you have a pool hall that has 9 ft tables, the pool hall I go to is 8-1/2 ft.
